How traders make money on-chain
The ways people make money trading new coins on-chain, the signals each one depends on, and the risk rules that keep them in the game.
There are a handful of ways people make money with new coins on-chain. Each one depends on different signals, and Glimz measures each of them.

Read wallets, not trades
Volume and trade counts are easy to fake: one bot can make thousands of trades, and one seller can split a sale into fifty. Counting wallets shows who is really there:
- Many buyers, few sellers is a crowd forming.
- Few sellers making many sells is someone unloading into buyers.
- Many trades from few wallets, or tiny trades is bots.
Risk rules
- Most new coins go to zero: a small, fixed stake per coin.
- Take the stake back out at 2x; let only profit ride.
- Check the exit before buying: what selling would cost right now.
- Skip coins where a few wallets are selling in chunks, the volume is bots, the top 10 hold most of the supply, or (Solana) mint or freeze authority is still set.
- Never chase an hour that already ran 100%.
