Token snapshot
Price, liquidity, market cap, age and trading activity in one plain-language summary.
What it answers
"What is this token, and how is it trading right now?" It is the starting point for most token questions.
Inputs
- A token address on Solana, Ethereum, Base or BNB Chain.
- A name or ticker also works, but those aren't unique. An address is always better.
What you get back
- Price in US dollars, and how it changed over recent windows.
- Liquidity in the token's trading pools.
- Market cap or fully diluted value, when the source reports it.
- Age: when its first trading pair was created.
- Volume and the number of buys and sells.
- Where it trades: the DEX and pair, with links.
- A one-paragraph summary that puts these numbers in plain words.
Sources
DEX Screener.
Coverage by chain
| Chain | Coverage | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Solana | Live | Same data on every chain. |
| Ethereum | Live | |
| Base | Live | |
| BNB Chain | Live |
Limits
- The snapshot comes from trading pairs that DEX Screener has indexed. A token with no pool yet, or one that trades only where DEX Screener doesn't look, has no snapshot.
- On a thin pool, small trades move the price a lot. Always read the price next to the liquidity.
- Who holds the token is not part of the snapshot. Use Holder map.
Ask it like this
What is <token address>?
Give me a quick snapshot of <token address> on Base.
