Skills
Top traders
The wallets trading a token most — and, with CoinGecko's PnL data, who actually made money on it.
What it answers
"Who is trading this?" and "Who made money on it?" The same list is the Top traders tab on every token page.
Inputs
A token address and its chain.
What you get back
It depends on the data available.
| Data | Ranking | Columns |
|---|---|---|
| CoinGecko PnL (paid plans) | Realized profit over each wallet's whole history in the token | Realized and unrealized profit, bought, sold, buys and sells, wallet labels |
| The pool's latest trades | Size traded | Buys, sells, dollars bought and sold, net tokens, last trade |
Every wallet links to its wallet page, where you can track it.
Sources
- CoinGecko onchain top traders, when Glimz's CoinGecko plan includes them.
- Otherwise GeckoTerminal: the pool's latest trades (up to 300 from the last 24 hours).
Coverage by chain
| Chain | Coverage | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Solana | Live | |
| Ethereum | Live | |
| Base | Live | |
| BNB Chain | Live |
Limits
- Profit is past, not future. A wallet that made money on one token says nothing about the next one.
- Without PnL data the numbers are trade sizes. A big buyer can be losing money.
- On a busy token, 300 trades can be only a few minutes of trading; the result says how long it covers.
- CoinGecko's PnL covers tokens created after September 2023, and leaves out stablecoins and wrapped native coins.
